HUGE SHIFT IN VOTER TRENDS THERE’S A RED WAVE INCOMING
NBC News looked at polling data from several recent polls and found huge shifts in voting trends, moving from Democrats to Republicans heading into the 2022 midterm elections.
The following data looking at how voter trends shifted from 2018 to 2022:
Men, with degree: 26% shifted Republican
Men, without degree: 12% shifted Republican
Women, with degree: 4% shifted Democrat
Women, without degree: 2% shifted Republican
All categories shifted towards the GOP except women with a college degree. The Federalist points out that one key missing metric could explain:
“NBC’s aggregation here doesn’t disclose a key datapoint: The likely vote by marital status. And that datapoint is very important for this discussion. That’s because, historically, married women tend to vote Republican. Single women tend to vote Democrat, in proportions that appear to be sharply increasing.”
Overall, still huge trends toward the GOP in the midterms.
