BIDEN ENDORSES SEX-CHANGE OPERATIONS FOR CHILDREN

The Biden regime has released a series of guidance documents encouraging gender-reassignment surgery and hormone treatments for minors. The documents were handed down by two separate divisions of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
Treatment options outlined in the HHS documents are:
Top surgery – to remove or enhance breasts to match gender
Bottom surgery – surgery on genitals or reproductive organs
Facial feminization surgery
Puberty blockers
Hormone treatment
Biden told the parents of transgender children:
“affirming your child’s identity is one of the most powerful things you can do to keep them safe.”
The counter-argument: Children who identify as the opposite gender have been shown to have a high rate of natural resolution – 61-98% of children eventually reidentify with their biological sex during puberty.
Bigger picture: This guidance comes just weeks after Texas Gov. Greg Abbott issued a state directive to investigate whether some transgender procedures on kids constituted child abuse.
Biden’s guidance went out of its way to try and rebuff the Texas directive, saying: “Providing gender-affirming care is neither child maltreatment nor malpractice.”
