#StraightPride in Boston in Danger of being Blocked by Mayor in Tricky way:
The Boston Police and their FBI liaison told them yesterday that if Antifa or any militant LGBT groups block out parade they will let them. Then they will let the clock run out on our permit so their speakers can’t speak on the stage they paid thousands for. If anyone did this at the LGBT parade they would immediately be thrown in jail. It is outrageous. Everyone should call Boston City Hall today at 617-635-4500 to complain. Mayor Walsh is a Fascist.
Puerto Rico prepares for Dorian’s wrath
Puerto Rico is bracing for a possible direct hit from Tropical Storm Dorian on Wednesday as forecasters say it has shifted in its path and could strengthen into a hurricane. The storm is expected to pass over or near western and central Puerto Rico, with landslides, widespread flooding and power outages possible. President Trump declared an emergency Tuesday night and ordered federal assistance for local authorities.
New photos taken of a North Korean shipyard suggest the country could be building a submarine that could potentially be capable of launching a nuclear missile, a report early Wednesday said. The photos show vessels and cranes that could be used to haul a missile out to sea for launch, according to experts at a Washington-based think tank, NBC News reported. The satellite photos seem to confirm North Korean state media reports from July about a newly built submarine. “There is no conclusive evidence at the moment that this is a near-term certainty,” an expert said of a possible missile test. Once a submarine is built, it would take at least a year before it’s ready, according to an expert.
DC consultant’s alleged affair with ‘Squad’s’ Omar detailed in divorce papers
The wife of a prominent Washington political consultant has filed for divorce, claiming her husband made a “devastating and shocking” revelation that he was having an affair with freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn. Beth Mynett, 55, submitted divorce papers in Washington, D.C., Superior Court on Tuesday, saying her husband, Tim Mynett, 38, informed her earlier this year that he was having an affair with Omar.
The news of the divorce filing, first seen in the New York Post, comes just over a month after it was reported that Omar had separated from Ahmed Hirsi, her husband and father of her three children, and moved into a luxury penthouse in Minneapolis.
OxyContin maker Purdue Pharma is settlement talks over opioid cases
State attorneys general and lawyers representing local governments said Tuesday they are in active settlement talks with Purdue Pharma, the maker of the prescription painkiller OxyContin that is facing billions of dollars in potential liability for its role in the nation’s opioid crisis. Purdue has been cast by attorneys and addiction experts as a main villain in the crisis for producing a blockbuster drug while understating its addiction risk. Purdue Pharma and its owners are reportedly looking to settle more than 2,000 opioid cases in a deal between $10 billion and $12 billion.
NYPD arrests slump in wake of the firing of officer accused in Garner case, report says
The firing of NYPD Officer Daniel Pantaleo, who was involved in the fatal arrest of Eric Garner in 2014, appears to have already had an effect on the Big Apple, with the number of arrests dropping sharply compared to 2018 and cops warning of plummeting morale among New York City’s finest. Just between Aug. 17, when Pantaleo was fired, and Aug. 25, arrests dropped by 27 percent compared to the same period in 2018, the New York Post reported. NYPD cops made 3,508 arrests compared to 4,827 a year earlier, according to the Post.

Newt Gingrich said Thursday that the public feud between freshman congresswomen and Nancy Pelosi is a result of “bitter differences” between the two and that the House Speaker needs to realize she’s “the grandmother” in the conflict.
Tensions have reached a boiling point between Pelosi and newcomer Democrats in the House such as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The New York congresswoman has made clear that she believes Pelosi is “singling out” progressive women of color like herself, Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., and Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., after Pelosi reportedly told Democrats to approach her personally about issues instead of airing out disagreements on Twitter.
During a Thursday morning appearance on “America’s Newsroom,” the former Speaker of the House said that Ocasio-Cortez’s argument is a “classic comment by the hard left.”
“Everything becomes either an attack on women, but since Pelosi is a woman, it has to be women of color,” Gingrich said. “The key thing here is very simple. We have now seen a group of genuine radicals who are way outside any reasonable position, and their public spokesperson is AOC.
“They have a deep bitter difference with Nancy Pelosi, who is an old-time liberal, representing an establishment, which these people, several of these people beat Democratic incumbents, so they come in as the opponents of the very things that Nancy Pelosi stands for,” he continued.
Ocasio-Cortez took to Twitter on Tuesday to address the conflict, slamming “sexist” Republicans who have dubbed their disagreement a “catfight.”
OCASIO-CORTEZ: PELOSI GIVING ME BUSY WORK, MIGHT BE TRYING TO KEEP ME OUT OF THE WAY
“The reason [Republicans] find it so novel &exciting is bc the GOP haven’t elected enough women themselves to see that it can, in fact, be a normal occurrence in a functioning democracy [sic],” she wrote.
Gingrich added that he respects Pelosi and acknowledged that she is in a “hard place” balancing her own viewpoints with those of an increasingly progressive House. He also argued that the Speaker should recognize the part that a generational gap plays in the disagreement.
“Nancy Pelosi has to recognize — and I recognize my own age — that she is the grandmother,” he said. “She is yelling at these young members, and they are here thinking you are two generations older than me. Why am I supposed to listen to you?” he continued.

Those resisting Pelosi are still a relatively small number in the wider context of House members, but Gingrich said that the Speaker will have a “much bigger problem” if that number begins to grow.

Rep. Ilhan Omar admitted that she may have embellished part of the story she told to high school students in an apparent attempt to showcase racial and economic disparities in the country.
The Minnesota Democrat recently told hundreds of Richfield High School students that about five years ago, when she was working as a Minneapolis city councilman, she witnessed an example of injustice that shook her to the core.
ILHAN OMAR’S ‘CREDIBILITY’ QUESTIONED BY HOMETOWN NEWSPAPER IN STINGING EDITORIAL
She recalled a “sweet, old… African-American lady” who was detained for a whole weekend for stealing a $2 loaf of bread to feed her “starving 5-year-old granddaughter,” according to the Washington Post, and screamed an expletive in court after the woman was fined $80 for the crime.
“I couldn’t control my emotions,” Omar told students, “because I couldn’t understand how a roomful of educated adults could do something so unjust.”
“I couldn’t control my emotions because I couldn’t understand how a roomful of educated adults could do something so unjust.”
“Omar’s story echoed the plot of ‘Les Miserables.’ If true, it is also probably embellished,” the newspaper claimed. “City officials said that police aren’t allowed to arrest people for shoplifting unless there’s a likelihood of violence or further crime. Typically, shoplifters are sentenced to attend a three-hour class.”
OMAR FIRES BACK AFTER PELOSI CALLS OUT FAR-LEFT DEMS WHO VOTED AGAINST BORDER BILL
Omar apparently “flubbed some facts” when telling the story to the students and told the newspaper that the woman may have not been just a one-time innocent shoplifter.
“She might have had a prior [arrest],” Omar said. “I’m not sure…The details might not have all matched, but that’s what I remember.”
“She might have had a prior [arrest]. I’m not sure…The details might not have all matched, but that’s what I remember.”
Omar has been reeling from a number of controversies ever since getting elected into Congress. She’s part of the freshmen progressive Democrats, most notably Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, that have clashed with the party’s leadership on multiple issues.

Omar fired back at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi after she criticized the freshmen Democrats for voting against the $4.6 billion border bill signed into law last week by President Trump by saying “All these people have their public whatever and their Twitter world … They’re four people and that’s how many votes they got.”
“Patetico! You know they’re just salty about WHO is wielding the power to shift ‘public sentiment’ these days, sis,” Omar tweeted. “Sorry not sorry.”

Pelosi tells Dems she wants to see Trump in prison, What Do You Think Those Chances Are?
Remembering D-Day, 75 years later
President Trump, French Emmanuel Macron and other world leaders will gather on the beaches of Normandy, France on Thursday to commemorate 75 years since the D-Day invasion and pay tribute to the heroes of the battle that was the turning point of World War II. D-Day saw more than 150,000 Allied troops land on the beaches of Normandy in northwest France on June 6, 1944. The … See More Battle of Normandy, codenamed Operation Overlord, changed the course of the war, and ultimately helped bring about Nazi Germany’s defeat in May 1945.
On Wednesday, in a ceremony at Portsmouth, England, Trump read an excerpt from a prayer that President Roosevelt said during a radio address on D-Day. He is expected to give a speech on Thursday while touring the beaches of Normandy and an American military cemetery in France. Tune in to “The Ingraham Angle” tonight at 10 p.m. ET to watch Laura Ingraham’s exclusive interview with President Trump from Normandy.
Trump warns not enough progress being made in Mexico talks
President Trump declared Wednesday evening that “not nearly enough” progress was being made in last-minute negotiations with Mexico, as the U.S. prepares to impose escalating tariffs unless that nation does more to stop the rush of illegal immigrants arriving at the U.S.-Mexico border. “Progress is being made, but not nearly enough!” the president tweeted.
Trump repeated his comments while making his way to Normandy early Thursday, saying that Congress and Democrats have been a “disaster” on immigration and that Dems were content with immigration crime. The president also stressed that he was “serious” about imposing tariffs on Mexico and said that many lawmakers do not know what they’re talking about when it comes to tariffs.
Trump’s remarks came as U.S. Customs and Border Protection reported Wednesday that the number of migrants apprehended at the border skyrocketed to nearly 133,000 in May, levels not seen in over a decade. That number surpassed 144,000 when counting migrants deemed inadmissible — more than a 30 percent increase from the prior month and double the influx recorded at the beginning of the year. Talks between U.S. officials and Mexico will resume Thursday.
Report: Pelosi tells Dems she wants to see Trump in prison
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told senior Democrats on Tuesday that she ultimately wants to see President Trump “in prison,”according to a report. The speaker reportedly made the remark while defending her stance against impeaching the president in an evening meeting with House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler and other top Democrats, according to Politico. “I don’t want to see him impeached, I want to see him in prison,” she said, according to multiple Democratic sources familiar with the meeting. Pelosi wants to hold the president accountable, the sources said, but thinks voters should get him out of office in 2020, after which he could possibly face criminal charges.
Rep. Ilhan Omar to 2020 Dem who wants to debate AOC: ‘No means no!’
2020 Democratic presidential candidate John Delaney wants to debate Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y, on the “Medicare-for-all.” Delaney invited the ire of several fellow Democrats, including Ocasio-Cortez, last weekend when he argued that “Medicare-for-all” was bad policy. AOC has refused to debate Delaney so far and fellow progressive Rep. Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., had one response for Delaney on Wednesday: “No means no!” In an interview with Fox News, Delaney lamented the Democratic Party’s “intolerance to different ideas” and said “Medicare-for-all” made it difficult for Democrats to beat Trump in 2020.
